Great

Fine and quiet stay. Room 101 is big and spacious. Comfortable beds and pillows. Big bathroom with bathtub. Free tea and coffee in the lounge. A little of everything for breakfast. Free parking in the weekends just outside the hotel. Quick and polite service from the employees. Please note there is no door to the bathroom in the room 😃

Drainage smell from toilet all over the room

The toilet in my room smelled strongly to drainage and the smell was all over the room. I mentioned this to the reception who said that they had fixed it but ... same smell during the night. Clearly lack of maintenance of an old hotel building. Not nice for a paying customer.

Very disappointing

The room was big and clean but the bathroom is only separated from the bedroom with a curtain. That's okay for solo travelers but I would not recommend for anything else. I was heavily disappointed by the breakfast. I find it hard to believe that the hotel is a 4 star hotel because the breakfast was more suitable for a hotel with 2 or 3 stars. The bread was primarily bake off, no real butter, one of the days there was no more scrambled egg at 9 am (breakfast closes at 9.30) and the only sweet stuff was Nutella or jam. Next time I would try one of the other hotels in the town.

When I booked the room I received an email from the hotel asking about our arrival time. They had written they needed this information to be able to prepare the room. When we arrived, there was an unfriendly man behind the reception desk who was in ordiny clothes, not uniforms. He said check-in time is 16 and did not care about the fact that they had sent us an email. He fixed a room later for us. But all in all you could see organisation was not their strong suit. The room had no aircondition. We had to keep the window open the whole time we were inside the room, even while sleeping. As a result we were hearing the street noise the whole night. The wall between the sleeping part and the bathroom was from glass. There was no curtain or such available between the sleeping part and the bathroom. When one person went to toilet, the other one could see inside the bathroom. In breakfast we tried different types of bread. None of them were fresh.

Trevlig personal! Frukosten va ok, märktes kanske att det va lågsäsong och att vi kom i slutet av frukosttiden. Va lite märkligt att det inte fanns någon dörr till toaletten utan att det va öppet till sovrummet, syntes inte helt självklart på bilderna så det hade jag gärna sett stått i beskrivningen.
