Cottages in Kuga District

Like all the hotels in Japan booked with Expedia this was clean and comfortable with a good free breakfast.

Small, as expected in Japan, but new and clean. friendly and helpful front desk, most even speak English.

The location was excellent close to the ferry. The accommodation was spacious, clean and the staff were attentive and professional. The scenic onsen was also an experience not to be missed. Dinner options seem to be limited on the island but if you love oysters you’re in for a treat! The bar offered a limited range of tasty snacks and the Miyajima Micro brewery serves excellent deer beer! Very much needed after a hike up Mt Misen.

What a wonderful hotel this is. When we first arrived, we were a bit skeptical as the hotel may look a bit dated, however, it is a wonderful property and one of the best hotels we’ve stayed on. We stayed in a room that had its own bath overlooking the mountains and I could not recommend that option enough. Being able to have a bath first thing in the morning as the sound raises, hearing the birds and looking out at the beautiful mountains is something I’ll remember forever. Our package included...

Brand new boutique hotel in pristine condition. Super easy access to transport (both to Hiroshima and to Miyajima island) given the hotel is 5-7 min walk from the station and 10 min walk from the ferry terminal. Great service from the friendly staff. Dinner and breakfast were both included with the stay and were of exceptional quality (dinner was fusion kaiseki). Hotel facilities were outstanding - thermal bath on the rooftop deck was very enjoyable.

Fabulous views. Excellent staff

Great stay at grand prince - we were upgraded ( eventually ) to the big club rooms on 19th floor - amazing views and a recently refurbished rooms. Caution not all of the rooms have been. A little out of town but £15 in a cab to peace park . Went out to local restaurants -( Gutsuri An best on our trip ) Staff were great and handy for boat to Miwajima- just one major downside was the swimming pool area which not up to par for a hotel if it’s type - could make much more of it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable Japanese style room with private toilet and basin. Easy access to shower and to the very relaxing traditional bathtub. Excellent Japanese breakfast with great selection of dishes from fresh local ingredients.

It was amazing! The staff was good and you felt welcome. The breakfast was also great, and you got a good feeling of what a Japanese breakfast consist of!

Great hotel, amazing location right in the station which is so accessible to all the main sites with great food options right there too. Spacious rooms with great amenities. Would stay again!
