"Room was not clean when we arrived and had to constantly ask for it to be cleaned the next day. Asked for a coat hanger as none supplied and failed to do this. No kettle supplied but did have tea and coffee setup. Power constantly dropped out. Food was not very good. Free 2 km camel ride was 50 metres and then demand for more money and when told no, told to get off. Some staff constantly expected tips. Some staff were very good. Culture experience was ok but very loud. Jeep ride on sand dunes good but cost 1500 rupees and some other Indian guests said it is included in the stay package."

"Rang Mahal, Jaisalmer – Wonderful Stay Experience (5★) This was my second visit to Jaisalmer, and I stayed at Rang Mahal from 26th December to 31st December (3 nights). Once again, the experience was absolutely wonderful. Everything about the property was perfect and well maintained. The room was super clean, spacious and comfortable The food was amazing, with great variety and taste The dinner setup with traditional Rajasthani folk singing was truly the icing on the cake and made the evenings very memorable The staff deserves special appreciation — extremely polite, helpful, and always ready to take care of any concern with a smile. Their hospitality really makes you feel welcomed and valued. I happily give 5-star ratings for everything — stay, food, service, and overall experience. "we had a great stay at Gulab Haweli. Location matches the pictures and at a very good location for a great view of the Jaisalmer fort. Food ( thali) for dinner was excellent (flavor, quality, hospitality). Breakfast is by order (not buffet) hence can be a bit slow during peak hrs. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Laundry service is at great price ( by kilos)..makes a difference when you are travelling city to city."
