We missed the first night due to all trains to Marseille being cancelled but they wouldn’t refund our first night (which I do understand) or I didn’t even get my free beverage at check in (after a long car ride to get there). staff was ok but not super friendly at front desk (at least the gentleman at check out). "The rooms are clean and spacious, and the pool is nice, but this hotel is terribly located and over-priced. There are no restaurants or sights within walking distance, and it’s still a 25 minute drive to the airport. Since the hotel restaurant was closed for a group event the night we were there, we walked around trying to find somewhere to eat, but the neighbourhood did not feel safe at night. There did not seem to be anyone who could speak English who could help newcomers to the area locate or recommend restaurants or nearby places to visit. As a first time visitor having a concierge available would have been helpful.
