The hostess (owner) was very friendly and helpful and she ordered our food which was delivered free of charge from a very good restaurant nearby. the pool and Jacuzzi area is very picturesque! Unfortunately, we didn't get the opportunity to use it since we got in pretty late. Only complaint was the mini fridge was a little smelly.

The receptionist Cecila was very kind and helpful. Provided restaurant recommendations. The typical Costa Rican was tasteful. The property is absolutely beautiful.

Cecilia was very accommodating and friendly. I had to leave very early the first morning before breakfast start time, so they brought me food the night before so I’d have something in my stomach before departing on my adventure. This is a small family owned hotel so there is no entertainment or lobby full-time person, but you can contact them by email or text if you need something and they will assist you. A complete and very nice breakfast is served on site but there is no kitchen so you need to go out for lunch or dinner and it is about a 10 min drive to downtown. If you have a car or pick-up shuttles to your activity, and you want a nice and quiet place to stay, away from the hectic of downtown, this is the place to stay. They have a very nice pool and jacuzzi and a great vegetation. Thank you very much Cecilia and staff!

Everything was perfect. The only thing is why I did not say excellent is because according to Expedia when I booked I was under the impression that the breakfast was included, but we were charged $8 per person per day. Not a big deal but somehow it is frustrating that the advertising is with breakfast and then you are charged. Special thanks to Cecilia for all her service and kindness.

This is a very nice property with a beautiful garden. The location is perfect for exploring the Arenal area. The staff is extremely friendly and super helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The pictures shows the standard of the hotel. What the pictures don't show is the great service that is provided. Spent two night at will absolute stay there again if I'm in the area. My daughter and I had a great experience.

The facility is private owned and properly managed. They have the most beautiful fluffy dog called Luna, who is so sweet. I did a solo trip to Costa Rica for mt 30th birthday. I wanted a nice spot andnsome quiet time and Mussaenda was the perfect location. It is veey secluded and jist breathtaking. The staff is so friendly too. Thank you Cecelia for calling the restaurant nearby and letting them know it was my birthday. It was really special. When I visit Costa Rica again, I'll definitely be staying at this location.

Just minor details need to be taken care of. There were 2 coffee cups while the reservation was for 3 people. There were some visible hair on the lavatory sink, bed, and hairdryer. For the rest, the place is great and the staff is very kind.

I would say it’s a basic room with no special features. The room was quite clean but had a weird smell that lasted the whole time we stayed there. The hostess was very nice and gave some helpful tips about activities to do. The breakfast was the usual with nothing special as mentioned in other reviews. Both the days we stayed, we had scheduled early morning activities due to which we had to skip breakfast. Cecilia was nice enough to wait for us the next day way past the usual breakfast time.

Pool was excellent, staff was nice and knowledgeable. There needs to be better coordination for late checkin and a map that includes breakfast location (across street). But once those logistics are worked out this is a great little spot. Quiet, clean, and beautifully done.

Family vacation at Arenal Volcano

Conveniently located to restaurants and attractions. Quiet and pretty. Everyone loved the butterfly garden, ziplining, and whitewater rafting.
