"It’s a fabulous location at one end of the main beach in Calpe, right by the town centre and lots of shops and restaurants. The two pools are nice, the roof top one is great but there’s no shade at all, except for a couple of little corners at certain times of day.
Our room was fine, comfy beds, clean, nice balcony with rack for drying towels and swimwear. Big enough for two adults and a 13 year old. All the basic amenities: fridge, hairdryer, tea.
Only negative was the breakfast room is loud when it’s busy, coffee machines aren't fast or numerous enough and tables can take a while to be cleaned in between people. However there was a good selection of choices, fruit, cereal, breads, pastries, cheese, sliced meat, fresh tomatoes through to a full cooked breakfast or made to order omelettes.
I’d say it was good value given the location and facilities. More than adequate for 4 stars, would need a bit of a refresh in some areas and bit more attention to detail to make it exceptional.
Ps salads and sandwiches at the roof top bar were okay but the burger wasn’t great quality meat. Hugo spritz cocktail is worth a try
