Potenza is a lovely little town with all kinds of bars and restaurants where you will meet interesting, friendly people. I would post photos but they say they are too big. Get with the program hotes.com The hotel is close to everything you need without having to walk for more than a few minutes and has few tourists. "The room was very nice and clean. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Giovanni helped me with transportation around Sala Consilina to see the town center and the sights in the area. He also helped me get to Teggiano for my stay there. Wonderful people!"

"Mitten in historischer Altstadt. Gut für Globetrotter, schlecht mit Fahrzeug. Wir hatten ein muffiges Erdgeschosszimmer, kleines Fenster für Luft, aber kaum Licht. Wollten extra "Übernachtungs-Tax" abrechnen. Null Englischenntnis."
