Country Inn Walker

"The location is excellent!! Walker is a great city. The Country Inn is showing its age. The sink in our suite ’s barroom had marks on it that looked unclean, but probably was a result of cigarette or burn damage from years ago. The lighting in the king suite room was insufficient. One small lamp. The bathtub/hydro tub was super tall which seniors can’t navigate safely. This hotel in today’s world needs an elevator to the second floor. The concrete and parking lot are showing their age. We paid a high rate for both nights, and have stayed here years ago on two occasions. The property is in decline like all older structures."

"What I didn’t like, I wasn’t there long enough to enjoy it. I got in at midnight and had to go before 8 AM. I slept like a baby. The short stay was not the fault of the motel, it was my own."

"We were there to fish on Leech Lake and our cabin was right on the water with a gorgeous view that changed by the moment. The staff was amazing. We loved the pool and the beach area. It was a great place for our family. Will stay again!"
