"We spent 5 nights in Radisson. What we LOVED:
- LOCATION. 5 minutes from the West Edmonton Mall, easy access to Anthony Henday and hwy 16, although you have to be a bit creative if you want to turn west. There are TONS of shopping opportunities in the area including Walmart, Costco, multiple Winners/Marshalls, grocery stores etc
- ROOM SIZES: Our room was huge. It would totally fit 2 other queen size beds. Bathroom was neat and clean, beds and beddings very comfortable
- STAFF: Very attentive, responsive and kind
What we liked less:
- swimming pool had some substance on the surface so we didn't dare to use it after the first day. Soap perhaps...???
- hotel is a little older and some areas are less than well maintained. The elevator in the lower building didn't seem like it may last long (it did though) and you need to be creative with the buttons (aka pay elevated attention to make sure it went through)
- you can hear lots of noises from the outside, every person walking, every door opening/closing. We didn't hear outside traffic at all unless it was the first responders sirens.
Bottom line: very good value for the $$ we spent and an excellent stay, we had a great time and would/will totally stay again"
