If you just need a bed to sleep in this is a decent spot. The breakfast bar had a broken waffle maker, overflowing trash, and no spoons. There was work going on outside, so the attendant wasn't always there, so it might have just been an off weekend. But the bed was clean and the price was decent.

The location of the inn is absolutely gorgeous right across from the lake. Besides that, the room was not super clean and we had an issue with spiders in our room. The front door didn’t lock correctly. We stayed for 2 days and no one ever came to give us fresh towels or check in to clean. It wasn’t completely terrible but I doubt I’d stay there again with so many other options close by.

The room was mediocre at best. Bathroom door wouldn't open all the way. There was an actual plastic chair in the shower! In front of our room on the ground was kids Pokemon cards and broken rubber gloves that were there for our whole stay. The lady a couple of doors up said that the shower faucet handle fell off in her hand when she tried to turn the shower on. Advertised as waterfront, which isn't a lie except that the water is across a VERY busy road.

Tiny and basic. This room had a double bed, TV, antique microwave, and 1 lamp. The bathroom had a walk in shower, but no door or curtain so water would go everywhere if you used it. Highly doubt we will stay there again.

Check in was good, and staff was friendly. There’s a number to call if you’re not there at 3p check-in time. We got a good nights sleep, no kids until the morning. There’s a decent sized tv in the room, cable tv and internet. No place to sit except to watch it on the bed. Bathroom small, but nice, upgraded. The next day- for breakfast, you need to get there early. Opens I believe at 7a and I got there at 8a- which was too late. Water for Keurig was gone, I brought my own. Creamer was gone. Trash overfilled. You could make your own waffles, but it didn’t work. There were a couple of yogurts and juices. Gone. So we went out for breakfast at a diner down the road, very busy, but worth the wait. They didn’t plan on refilling anything, even though they walked past several times. Overall it was just ok.

I feel duped. Pictures on Expedia DO NOT accurately represent this property. The picture of the loungers overlooking the lake made it appear that the property was right on the lake with maybe a beach. It’s not. It’s across the street from the lake, and there are no loungers. Only dirty old chairs covered with bugs. The outside of the hotel was in disrepair. The wooden stairs and outside walkways felt rickety and unsafe. I worried that I might fall through. Bugs were everywhere, which I realize is out of their control, but they could’ve at least swept or power washed the dead ones caked onto the balconies, walkways, and doors to the rooms. Although the room was clean, the pillows were paper thin, the bath towels were thread bare and the size of a dish towel, there’s no counter space in the bathroom, and no shelves or places to set shampoo in the shower or leave your toiletries.There was something purple splattered on the bathroom wall. Toilet paper was 1 ply. Everything was cheap and bare bones. Our room was at the end of the second floor, and instead of hanging curtains over an interior window, they stuck contact paper to the window which did not filter out the bright street light outside. It was like sleeping with a bright night light on. We checked in late, but had called earlier in the day to inform them that we would be late. Upon arrival, our keys were not left in a drop box as promised. Would never stay here again.

Inside the Inn was dirty with bugs in all windows, siding not cleaned, deck needed painting and cleaning; room lacked any ambience - not pictures, towels small and one was dirty, room door was filthy (staff member did come in to clean with encouragement); lighting in bathroom was nonexistent by mirror, no shower curtain - which meant water all over the floor (It looked like they may be renovating the bathroom?) TV and bed were acceptable; breakfast area did not seem clean with limited choices, Keurig and coffee choices were good. Beach area was interesting across a very busy, busy road! Very difficult to get across, even more difficult to get back! Beach deck would cause splinters! Overall, the property and rooms need updating and general maintenance on a regular basis! Would not recommend to others.

Overall great stay. Rooms are VERY small but fine for an overnight stay. Vety clean. Staff was great. Check in for quick & smooth! For the price you couldnt beat it!

I rarely write bad reviews because I know that the owners of private places have a hard job and rely on seasonal income. I wasn't expecting much due to the price. I expected just wanted a clean room for the night. I walked in and immediately put my phone on a sticky pile of who knows what. Messed my camera up No toilet paper and the worse was stained sheets and comforter. Besides that just a basic room.

This property was filthy. There were literally bags of trash in the parking lot. We tried to write it off as being a busy holiday weekend but the room itself was also disgusting. Upon walking into the room it was very clear to us that the room has not been cleaned beyond the bed being made. There was actually money left on the floor next to the bed. We had to request that the blankets be changed, as there was food all over the blanket. There was also food all over the floor. The toilet also did not work. We reported this to the front desk, who came and plunged the toilet but that did not fix the issue of the toilet not actually flushing. We tried to make the best of it as we were only there for a night to see a concert but in short, the hotel was extremely dirty and run down, the beds were uncomfortable and it was clear fixing any issues was not a priority to the owner. Would not recommend staying here to anyone.

I was shocked to open the door to this place. To pay good money for something that I didn't want to touch is upsetting. The hand rails are disgusting. You're afraid to sit, let alone sleep on anything. The kitchenette is horrible. The bathroom is old. You see cracked floor tiles and a toilet that you need to brace yourself because it is the older style that is very low. We got ONE channel on the television. Stay anywhere else.

No shades so the sun and traffic woke us up at 6 am. The world's smallest air conditioner.

I was a little worried staying here. Some of the reviews were not to great. But the reviews were wrong. The owners are really working hard to make this place good. Our room was compact. We didn't have a lot of extra room but we had all we needed. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. We looked at the other larger rooms and they were all clean and you could tell updated. We enjoyed the waffle maker for breakfast. The only thing we wished was a crosswalk to stop traffic to go to the beach they have. You do take your life in your hands crossing. We loved sitting on the deck and looking at the lake. All the staff was friendly and helpful. We definitely will stay again but in a larger room facing the lake.

This property was filthy! Trails of dog poop on the carpet in the hallway, filthy floors in the room, sticky and disgusting handrails. Huge unpainted roughly patched hole in wall. Multiple bathroom fixtures broken. Extension cords dangling from TV and A/C. Carpets so dirty that a five step walk to the bed required rewashing our feet after a shower. Open filthy windows in common areas had no screens so lots of indoor bugs. Ramp into main entrance had one broken board that made it feel unsafe. Would never stay here again!

The room we stayed in was dirty. The rug was stained all through the room. The room had a very bad odor to it. No fire alarm. Has wires hanging out from the ceiling. Stayed three nights with no house keeping services. Had to go and buy towels and wash clothes from Walmart in order to bathe. I actually would like a full refund!
