"This is an excellent choice in New Orleans, especially if you have reason to be in the Garden District. The building and grounds are stunning, and lots of nooks to relax around the property, including the pool and courtyard. Also, there are a variety of eating and drinking options, all good. One note is that unless you like to walk (we did), or take cars, it’s not particularly convenient to the French Quarter. So, if your visit includes being in that area much of your stay, you may want to consider another option. "

"Cute, walkable and convenient to the streetcar and to get an uber(pick up or drop off). Neighborhood offers a lot of things to do (food options, bars, shops). Pool was a bit dirty on our stay but it did rain lightly a few times. We were given a far room which was fine, just thought it was odd since we passed several that were empty. We didn’t get housekeeping service after our 1st night but they did end up coming. The giant gap at the bottom of the door was a bit annoying. Light got in, ac escaped but we made it work (used a towel to block light/heat). Overall I’d stay there again. "

"We really enjoyed the downstairs piano bar and the staff were very nice. The bed was comfy, however, they gave us a handicapped room when we didn’t need it (I couldn’t hang my dresses high enough so they wouldn’t hit the floor) and the shower flooded the bathroom. I’ve stayed in the Pontchartrain before, and the regular room that I had then was much better than this one."
