"The room I paid for had a double bed, not two single twin beds. However, I received the twin beds version. Luckily, the staff was able to assign me another room wth double bed. BUT, it was the less expensive room, which is fine, but a refund for the difference was never offered. not paid. The room itself was still very tight without a small refrigerator for a bottle of water, not even a kettle to heat up water. The shower had only liquid soap, no shampoo or conditioner, as most hotels offer. The room itself was clean, but no real desk, just a small, narrow shelf to be used as a desk with an adjustable bar stool. The curtains had lots of molding spots, and the sliding door to the balcony and the wall around it were filthy with mold and dirt. In addition, the door could not be safely locked, so I had to improvise to ensure it could not be easily opened from the outside. The walls were thin, and you could hear sounds from the hallway or the adjacent or above units.
There was also a weird, unclean smell as you entered the hotel, but it was not in the rest of it.
The location is good, within walking distance of the old city.
Breakfast was nice, with a good variety of breads, pastries, spreads, cereals, and a great Nescafé machine that offered a wide variety of coffees. "
"Apartment was awesome. We had the two bedroom with a sea view. Excellent views
from all 4 balconies! Bar area was modern and spacious. It was nice to have an outdoor and indoor children’s play area….well organized, great variety of toys and child bathroom right there. The pool area was large with a little wading area. It wasn’t cold to use that day though. Grounds were well maintained. "
"Clean room, comfortable bed but all four pillows were very thick and over stuffed. The temperature of the room was adequate however the room AC did not work properly. The bathroom was very nice with a great bathtub/shower (rain shower head and also a shower wand).
The breakfast buffet was simply the best free buffet I have ever encountered. Outstanding choice of everything you would want for breakfast and brunch.
The outdoor pool area requires serious updating! A very tired wooden deck is over the top of the original pool deck. The pool deck is starting to sag/breakdown with loose boards around the pool surround. The pool is missing tiles from the bottom ( watch your toes ).
The price was very faire for the room, staff are outstanding, very helpful and friendly."
"It is a beautiful hotel and a perfect location. Easy access to the bus, store, the train station, the Marina. I can’t speak highly enough of the breakfast buffet and all of the staff that worked there.
We will be coming back."
