New Jersey's largest lake beckons with pristine waters perfect for boating, fishing, and waterfront dining at Lake Hopatcong State Park. Nearby, history buffs can explore the Canal Society Museum in Waterloo Village, while adventure seekers tackle the zip lines at Mountain Creek.
We visit here often, and having been to other hotels in the area, Homewood Suites Rockaway smacks it straight out of the ballpark and is always a favorite to return to.

Excellent staff, good location and exceptionally clean. Really enjoyed our stay there - and whilst the pool is modest - it is incredibly clean and a pleasure to exercise in.
Breakfast was fresh with a good selection each morning, generous and enjoyed.
Free wifi was poor - really the only negative.
I look forward to returning.

What a wonderful B&B! This was just a great experience staying in a traditional American house. The house was beautiful with an amazing atmosphere. The rooms cozy, clean and well equipped and the host wonderfully friendly. Breakfast superb (as was the sherry)! We can't wait to return one day.

A really nice hotel. It's not super modern but it's way nicer than the cheap identikit hotels everywhere nowadays. The room was large and comfortable and you can open the window properly. TV was great, bed was huge, everything works in the bathroom. Microwave and a huge fridge in the room, a desk and a nice armchair.
Breakfast is really good, they got eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal, cereal, toast, bagels, yoghurt, fruit and one of those flipover waffle makers.
Coffee in the room and...
