"We had an amazing stay! We visited in the fall so it was probably a bit quieter than the summer months, but we thoroughly enjoyed everything and can't wait to go back! We never had a chance to use the pool because our stay was so short but it sure looked inviting. It's not too far from town and was only 30 minutes from Itasca, which was the reason for our visit. The kitchen had all of the essentials so we didn't need to bring any dishes or appliances from home, which was a plus. The staff was very friendly and there was really nothing at all negative about our stay and I highly recommend this place. The price was even cheaper than most hotels with quiet and space and views you can't get at a hotel!"

"The staff is always nice and helpful. The rooms are perfect for our family. The Cookhouse is an easy place to eat. The food is great and only about 100 feet from the furthest cabin door. Love the sitting areas and the trail around the property. Close enough to Park Rapids if you need major stores! We love this place."

"The staff was very helpful. I was a little disappointed in the breakfast, they had eggs but no meat like sausage or bacon. The curtain bar in my room was loose, I was a little worried that it would fall while I was in the shower, Overall, I would stay there again!"
