We stayed in this motel off season, in October, so we did not use the pool or the beach nearby. For us it was more a beautiful, quiet location to access other more crowded places at a good value. Having said this, the room was well maintained all in white planks with some black details. I would describe it as cute. One of the nights was a bit chilly and we put on the heating and it was fine although a blanket in the room could be a good addition for people going off season. We really enjoyed our stay at this motel.

Beautiful location , quiet, accessible fire pits, grills, chairs, boats, etc… everyone was friendly. Park within walking distance. I definitely will be recommending this location to my friends. Everything was clean and updated.

This motel is an absolute gem. The rooms are spacious and pristinely clean. The waterfront on the lake is very pretty and going out on the water was a highlight for the kids. The staff is very nice and helpful. I’m looking forward to staying here again the next time I’m headed for the Adirondacks.

We loved it here! It was quiet and clean and perfect for what my family needed. I couldn’t believe all the amenities, simple things like lake and pool access, several grills throughout the property and even clean tools for the grills, sand toys for the kids to use by the lake. Paddle boats, canoes and life vests. A fire pit with access to split wood. Just all the little things that made it great. The communication to access the room was super easy too. Only 15 min from the center of lake George. We will be back!!

Staff were fantastic! Upon or first day at check in, we weren't quite satisfied with our original room. It was not on the lake side but by the pool. We wanted lakeside. After a 10 minute phone call and an on-site visit from staff, we had our room on the lakeside. Room was comfortable, had a good sized refrigerator and the tv was easily adaptable for Fire Stick Streaming. Wi Fi was great as well. It was a beautiful weather weekend. And lake front beach and view are awesome. Firepit, and free use of paddle boats, canoe. Plenty of comfy beach chairs. Not too crowded for a holiday weekend and all the other guests we interacted with were lovely. Also conveniently located between Lake George and Saratoga Springs so easy drive to get to either spot for dinner or horse track. Definitely recommend and hope to go back next year. Thank you Motel Luzerne for a wonderful stay! Chris

The experience was wonderful, if you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the lake doing activities I recommend it to the maximum, the place is divided you choose access to the lake or access to the pool which I also enjoyed. The rooms very clean and with a pleasant smell, the staff very friendly and attentive. I would choose it again!!!!!

Room was clean and comfortable. The lake was very pretty and has a family of loons living on it. The heated pool was wonderful and we had it all to ourselves. Pam the manager was nice.

The good --room clean, price right, heated pool plus beach activities. The bad---my room was too small for 2 queen beds, no tables, no chairs, small bath and sink so no where to put things . Never saw housekeeping for the 4 days I was there, ran out of clean towels, coffee pods, etc.

My husband and my daughter stayed one night. This was a perfect place. Clean, comfortable, private, and close by to the Painted Ponies Rodeo show. No complaints and customer service was exceptional! We would definitely stay here again!

Place was amazing, my kids had fun from heated pool, boating( kayak, paddleboat), private lake/beach and nearby public beach too. There's a firepit you can make smores and grills to cook burgers or steak... You can fish too but bring your own fishing rod. Staff(s) were attending and kind. Lake Luzerne was a quiet yet relaxing place, the bons ice cream was delish, mill park a must visit too (mini trail i think) you'll see a waterfalls. Across i think it was a wayside public beach, Lake George was 15-20 min away is a must also. My kids want to go back in hotel luzerne next summer! Our 3.5 hr travel was worth to this amazing place😊Thank you

We love this place for a quick summer getaway. It’s an updated old fashioned motel with beachfront on Lake Luzerne. Great for swimming and kayaking. It’s a 40 minute drive into Saratoga Springs so we get both the Adirondack feel and the Saratoga vibe and day at the horse races. To top it off the beds are just right for a restful night sleep.

We just came back from a 2 night stay at Motel Luzerne and were very happy! Even before we arrived, the hotel staff responded immediately to several questions I sent via online communication. Our room was one of 4 rooms which overlook the outdoor heated pool, which is otherwise fenced off, giving it a more private feel. We got to use the pool a few times, which really enhanced our stay. The lakefront rooms were about a 3 minute walk away, so we also got to spend some time there, enjoying the view and using the paddleboat in the pristine lake. The room was basic and the bathroom and shower (stall) were on the smaller side, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff responded promptly when we called to ask for anything. The bathroom lock was a little loose, but someone came to fix it as soon as we asked. Still, the bathroom door sometimes got a bit stuck. We were also able to upgrade from full-size beds to queen size, for the same price, which was nice, since I was there with 3 kids and we were sharing beds. Check-in and check-out were simple and convenient - a code was sent to me by text so we could go straight into our room. Right outside our room (and the other 3 adjoining rooms) was a deck with chairs, which was a nice place to relax. All in all we had a pleasant, enjoyable, and relaxing stay and would recommend this hotel to others who are traveling to the Lake George area! My kids and I agreed that we would be happy to come here again!

Love the private beach that has variety of water equipment. The staff was really nice and helpful. The only thing is the bed sheet was not that cleaned and we found couple ants and moths in the room.
