"Great venue and staff"

"Very nice spot. The host was very helpful and friendly."

"We cut our stay short, leaving after three out of four nights. To start with the positive: the breakfast was plentiful and the owner was very friendly. However, the room was very small and the bathroom was completely unacceptable. The plastic shower door was broken (we could only shower with it open), the mirror was blind, hung way too high, and poorly extended with a glued-on piece underneath. "We stayed 6 nights in a deluxe room. The room was comfortable but not quite what I expected for deluxe. It was comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were the best we had on this trip to KZN. The outside area is very pretty and we enjoyed having our breakfasts outside."

"The property is beautiful and I loved the boardwalks through the forest. The staff was very helpful, professional, and friendly - they went out of their way to accommodate me as a vegetarian and the chef made a delicious curry even though it wasn't on the menu. Thank you for the lovely stay!"

"A real gem! Don and the team made us feel so at home. The property has been beautifully renovated and the breakfast was amazing. We cant wait to go back!"

"very good place"

"Really enjoyed staying at lodge. Beautiful, well organised staff and very lovely neighborhood. Very impressed with manager"

"Great overnight stay in a very peaceful setting. A last minute booking and the staff were great. Thank you"

"Very good, cozy and comfortable"

"Great rooms in a quiet location with lovely grounds and pool."

"Good location "

"The lodge is lovely with very attentive staff. The cat sanctuary is a must visit and trips to Hluhluwe was easy to organise. It is an easy drive to St Lucia and to Bayete to see the elephant education demonstration which is a must-do. Be aware that there is very little around there so likely you will need to eat dinner at the lodge. The foods is quite plain with not much choice. Also be aware that the rooms have no TVs. I would recommend the Lodge for its position and the attentive staff."

"Very nice guest house, everything is done to make sure that we are comfortable. The owners are very nice people and can give a lot of advices ans help you with a cooler, booking etc... Nice location also, you can walk to the beach, restuarants, etc... The breakfast is really great. We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely come back. One more thing we can see some monkeys from our house :)"
