"Had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Originally a prison, it has been converted into a quirky, comfortable hotel retaining many of the features. The bedrooms were cells, small but well equipped with ensuite bathrooms. The position is slightly outside the centre of Stockholm but all the better. Situated on a lovely peaceful island within walking distance to Gamla Stan and the museums. The breakfast is amazing with an enormous variety of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. "Nice historic building on a bit of a hill on a quiet street. It has a cobbled entry that is a little difficult with large luggage. The room was clean and a nice size. Room amenities and the staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast spread was quite varied and there is lots of seating inside and outside the hotel. Very close to the subway. As well, if you enjoy vintage/ secondhand shopping, it is located in the midst of the Slow Fashion District. Really enjoyed my stay here!"
