At Home Inn & Suites

4/10 Poor

"Staff was nice and it was a great location close to everything! Air conditioning worked really good and loved the fridge and microwave. Bed was comfy and the room had a nice little sitting area. Other than that… the rooms didn’t have enough lighting and I’m guessing they expected us to just open the curtains during the day for light but we like our privacy. The noise level at night was ridiculous with roudy people all around us hollering and talking extremely loud and that usually lasted till at least around 1am. And we never got to use the pool because it looked green and cloudy so we didn’t trust it. We stayed because it had a pretty good rating especially for couples so we wanted to give them a try, but we will not be back."

"The view was nice many dolphins were able to be seen but other than that the rooms were disappointing. So many stains on the bed, sofa couch, regular couch, ironing board, sheets, and blankets. It looked as if nothing was cleaned. The door barely closed, you’d have to nearly slam it to death to close it. The balcony door was jammed and took forever to unjam."

"You get what you pay for! The lobby was nice, but gave false hope for the room. The staff was helpful. There was only one elevator and it takes forever to utilize the elevator. The room did have a kitchenette, but no dishes or utensils at all. (You had to rent them out which was inconvenient) The air conditioner was loud and anytime it cut on, it woke us up. The chair in the room smelled like whoever sat in it last. The breakfast offered "grab and go" and they only offered packaged oatmeal, prepackaged muffins, prepackaged fruit bars, and coffee. Getting towels was also a hassle because we had to return the dirty ones for new ones, but had to hunt down the right person for them. However, the washer and dryer set up that you had to pay for was good in terms of getting our clothes clean. We had a noise complaint from our toddlers walking in the room, but people played loud music all night and ran through the halls. The ice machine set up was very unsanitary as anyone was able to reach inside and grab with their hands. The staff also took in a stray large dog that was terrorizing the lobby and we were told he was friendly and comes in frequently."

"I've stayed here many times, but always in the towers, this time I stayed in the older part of the hotel and the first room was not so great, it smelled of mold/mildew so much that we had to sit on the balcony and the closet was totally rusted. The staff eventually corrected it and moved us to another room. Thank you for making this right."
