"The location is great and the property is very nice, green, lots of outdoor chairs etc. The breakfast was better than standard motel fare. The only downside is the really small one bathroom (with no sink outside) even for a two room unit or units where four people are allowed. However that is specified in the listing so its not a surprise. You'll have to plan bathroom usage. Otherwise its a great place - nearby to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor."

"​This was a very nice, clean, and well-lit inn with a charming, nostalgic feel. The room was well equipped with a kitchen and enough pans to easily prepare breakfast, and while the bed was a bit too soft for my preference, the bathroom was spotless and overall comfortable. Keep in mind there is no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage to the third floor can be a bit of a trek, but they provide coffee and delicious fresh pumpkin and blueberry loaf in the morning. "The standard single room was not worth what we paid. It was very small. Lighting was poor. No microvave. No clock. No table. No room to do anything. The room was so small, when the HVAC unit was running the noise was terrible, even when the fan was set on low. Same for the bathroom, very tiny. We were terribly disappointed. The room was clean."

"The Stewman restaurant on the property was excellent. We stayed in stone building that had rooms on the 2nd floor and a conference center on the first floor. One should check prior to see if they are in the main hotel building as there was no elevator up to the 2nd floor. Unfortunately we both have bad back issues so it was a bit hard getting our suitcases, etc up to the room. Plus, when we were checking g out there was a vet conference so awkward getting our suitcases down"
