"Hotel is located in a very nice area of Edinburgh, however there is nothing walking distance around it. Which isn't the hotels fault, but something to keep in mind. Hotel and rooms are dates, no sense of urgency with customer care. Example, needed a new key and was asked why I needed it, after explaining why the front desk lady said it will be a minute as she's posting charges. Check the bed(s), mine had a spring popping through the material and could have cut me while sleeping."

"It's a hard hotel to be rated as the room we booked was misleading in Expedia, it was far worse, smaller, dated than in the pictures and description. There were only two rooms at that corner, far away from other rooms, looks like a one star hotel room. The other rooms were nice though, together with very nice library, lobby, activity rooms, which made our room even more pathatic. "Room was clean except for the toilet room. Stains on the walls, all over the floors, etc. Beds were clean and comfortable. Great for couples, NOT suitable for families unless you like walking out of the shower directly to your family"

"My first impression of the hotel was favorable. Smooth check in, seemingly helpful front desk attendant who gave us a complimentary “upgrade”as we joined the rewards program. Room was fine, looked out the front of the hotel and over the area where the main air conditioning seemed to be housed. Still ok.
