"Read the reviews and was slightly put off. But having spent the whole weekend at the hotel, my mind was changed. Staff were very helpful with all questions and information needed. Grounds and views are lovely. Used the spa and pool and enjoyed every minute. Check in and out was very easy, food was amazing (especially the lamb). Will definitely be back to visit in the next few weeks. Only thing I would ask if bottles of water could be put in the annex room, as im very fussy and refuse to drink...

Friendly staff, nice brekkie & recommended if you are visiting the area & don’t want to be in the middle of it all but still easily accessible if you want to go into either place. Very nice!"

"We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating.
