"The Common Hostel was excellent. Staff was super friendly. The common areas is great for meeting fellow travelers. The breakfast is basic but gets the job done. I booked the private room and it’s small but has all you need. Only thing is there’s no step to separate the shower from rest of the bathroom so water gets over easily. But overall it was a pleasant stay and would definitely come back. It’s on the quieter side of the old city so it’s a bit of a walk/ride to the markets and bars but...

"If you want somewhere basic and well located in Chiangmai old town, this is the place for you. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a lovely area walking distance from lovely shops and places to eat and book other excursions. My only complaint would be that the room was quite basic, there was a lot of noise from other AC generators (despite the one in our room being turned off whilst we tried to sleep) and the shower was not hot. "This is the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at. Luxury in terms of hostels. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was cold. And everything was clean. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. The cat who oversees things are done correctly was a great addition. (No cat smell or fur so don't worry) "
