"We went in to try and check in early to see if they had any rooms available but the man at the front desk said they didn’t have any rooms available at that time and to come back at 3pm. When we came back at 3pm he said that all rooms have been canceled as of that morning and that there were no rooms available. Two other people were also in the same predicament when trying to check in during that time. I never received any emails from La Quinta or Expedia saying that our booking was canceled and the man at the front desk straight up lied and misled us into believing that there would be rooms when we came back at 3pm. "

"The room was good, wish they had a mirror besides the one in the bathroom. Everything was clean and organized though. Didn’t get to check in after one hour of original check in, can’t believe they only had one maid for their busiest weekend hence the late check in because they were cleaning the rooms. Breakfast was good but they ran out of waffle mix, sad."

"The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean but the bathroom tub was gross! There was black mold in the drain and the tub looked grimy. The a/c worked well and the bed was comfortable. Parking was good. We love the location, the quaint Spanish style decor in the lobby. There's a nice indoor pool and beautiful sitting area in the courtyard. I used to use the workout room that is.no.longer there! There used to be cute shops in the lobby, all are gone now."

"When we arrived, the clerk told us to pull around back. There was several men in the entrance door hiding behind the bushes smoking. Felt unsafe. We got checked in and the carpet was stained . Although the sheets were clean, we stayed the night. The shower and bathtub was filthy, stained and rusty. Upon returning after our day with our family, we woke the next morning to a huge cockroach running across the bathroom floor. So I went to the front desk and on the way there I encountered the manager. I explained to him the situation and he said , that he was able to refund only a portion $70 to be exact, but you would have to call Exedia. As we were finishing our conversation and I shared with him that I took pictures of the room and the cockroach. He let me know that because we booked through Expedia that they pretty much give us the crappy room. Very unhappy.
