"We visited at the end of April when this hotel was still under construction. It was a minor inconvenience as we paid for a “garden view” when the view was a complete construction zone. They did upgrade our room size because of this. That being said, the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We stayed 2 nights and ate at the restaurant both nights. Their buffet breakfast is also amazing. Seeing that the hotel is no longer under construction, I would definitely stay here...
"Amazing property for families. Boys loved the bunk beds and the arcade game. Only downside was it was a bit too hot the first night although there was a floor fan in the room. I would recommend putting in a proper ceiling fan for the hot summer nights. Would absolutely stay again!!"
"Our stay at the Edelweiss Hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself is charming and you totally get the family run vibe. Thomas was very attentive and helpful, as was Monica and the rest of the staff. We had our hikes planned but, made some changes based on their recommendations and they were spot on. I feel that their suggestions made our experiences even better.

The other reviews that mention flies at breakfast aren't wrong, but this is a dairy region. There are flies all over. It isn't a disaster, but if this is going to wreck your trip maybe stay in Interlaken."
