Great boutique hotel in a lovely town. Warm, friendly reception and beautifully designed. Breakfast was first class. Whilst very central it’s also really quiet and within walking distance of all the bars and restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay. Host was excellent very friendly and welcoming. Accommodation first class. Nice quiet area. Only used as overnight stay but would happily stay longer if in the area again. Great location, service and host.

Amazing place to stay. We booked a room for 2 Adults & 2 Children which gave us two double bedrooms within one small apartment type setting with a good sized bathroom (and huge bath). All very spacious and plenty of room. Gardens is massive which you can walk around very pleasant in summer Alex (host) is extremely warming on arrival and nothing is too much trouble Nice and quiet area I would highly recommend this accommodation

Words cannot describe our stay with Bernd and Gregory. Their home is just stunning and decorated with style and elegance. The exterior is beautiful and in a quiet secluded area with lawns, trees, flowers and topiary that must take hours to maintain. We were warmly welcomed and invited to chose our room. Everything about Alix was wonderful. Glenn our host was very friendly, helpful and kind. Great room, great facilities, good location.

Fantastic surroundings and the facilities are brilliant, especially if you are a cyclist with bike washing areas, storage, underground parking. There are washing/ drying machines and also a workshop should you have mechanical issues. Oudenaarde and Brakel are only short distances away, so ideally located. New restaurant serves great food. Christine and Guy are brilliant- nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend and we will be staying again (after having stayed many times before!).

Wonderful stay in the suite at the One Two Four. Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful accommodation and the spa was a great addition to our trip. We had breakfast in the restaurant on one morning which was fresh and delicious. We would definitely recommend.
