"From the moment we arrived the staff was accommodating and helpful. The room was immaculate. The cleaning staff were spot on. The breakfast buffet is a definite add on that should be done. The food was really good and there were plenty of choices to fix it up during our stay. The bar and restaurant are very good as well. The location is a plus. You are smack in the middle of just about everything Dublin has to offer. No need for a car you can walk to everything within 20-30 minutes tops."

"My stay at The Mercantile was extraordinary! The staff were warm, welcoming and attentive to my requests! For example, I had some flowers set up in my room and they set up a quick solution to accommodate with a vase. My room was clean and perfect for a 3 night stay. Additionally, the location and convenience cannot be understated. I will be staying here again and every time when visiting Dublin. I did have a corner room where the WiFi was not as strong and needed to take a work video...

"The room was clean enough but really needed a good dusting. There were some stains on the comforter. The staff wasn’t super friendly but were ok. For the price you pay I just feel like it’s not really worth it. I was aware that the room would be very small but I wish it had at least a mini fridge. The hotel is in a central location which was convenient for walking to places. It seems that the alley it is located in has a bit of a homeless problem though. There were a few times I was walking back...

All staff were professional, very helpful (sought ways to assist rather than waiting to be asked), and knowledgeable about their duties. rooms in this property are designed to be controlled by a tabet (lights (there are also switches for most lights), tv, temerature, etc. Rooms have a space saving layout - a small rectangle. The kingsize bead is at the end of the short room and fits wall to wall against the back wall where the window is. ...
