"The hotel was just what I had hoped for, for my lake como vacation. Just a few minutes from varenna and more quiet and quaint. We were picked up from the train station and offered shuttle service but everything is walkable or a quick train or ferry ride away. Breakfast is great and the staff here are very nice and helpful. It’s right on the lake so the views are beautiful. We only booked 2 nights but ended up staying 4. "

"We had a fantastic stay here. Breakfast service to our room was amazing. Getting to sit outside in the morning with delicious food taking in the views were a highlight. Giuliano, the driver who shuttled us into Bellagio, was also fantastic. Would highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful stay with a room overlooking the lake and a nice balcony. The location can’t be beat and the shuttle service a huge plus. Lots of great restaurants nearby and we had pizza and salads on our last night at one of the hotel restaurants- really enjoyable."

"On arrival, after a long journey, my wife and I needed lunch and something to drink. We were sent nearly 1km along a dangerous road without a pavement to a closed restaurant. When I asked for help to get lunch I was told that by an exceptionally rude receptionist “I am not your slave”, and “your lunch is not my problem”. Even after explaining that my wife was ill, the rude receptionist continued to argue with me a lecture me on ‘local customs’. However, the other staff at the hotel could not...

"We loved our stay here. The staff was so kind, and allowed us to check in early since we arrived 4 hours before usual check-in time. The hotel is very spacious and rooms were so quiet. Could not hear neighbors at all. Breakfast, while not included in room cost, had a good variety and it was nice to not have to go searching for a good cup of coffee and food around town first thing in the morning. The location was perfect for our trips to Bellagio and Como. We would definitely stay here again. "
