Excellent location and property. Very quiet with restaurants a short drive away. Easy parking and a very safe environment.

we had an excellent stay at these hotel! execellet room, good restaurant, the only place not at the same level is the spa, always too busy and you don't find any space where to rest a little bit also with reservation

Required an overnight stay on way to the French Alps. Our room to the rear of the property was spacious clean and tidy. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful and provided a good continental breakfast.

We had a pleasant stay at the Hotel de France. The location is perfect as it is walking distance from the train station and in the city centre. You have plenty of bakeries and shops around the hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We actually slept like babies as the bedding was so comfortable! We booked the breakfast too, which was very good. It had a lot of local products. Really nice old farm house with lovely rooms

I have stayed in many high end hotels throughout the world and I have to say that this experience was superb from start to finish. Staff could not have been more professional and helpful. The room was superb and the setting was also great. All rooms are individually designed and the building dates back to the 15th century, so is characterful in many regards. If you're in Chambéry and you want a really good place to stay, I would strongly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way back north. The hotel is lovely and the rooms very comfortable, the restaurant was closed whilst we were there but the bar serves a nice selection without needing to go out. The hotel is ideally positioned to visit Annecy or do what we did and visit Mont Revard with outstanding views of the lake right next to the hotel, the surrounding countryside is beautiful.
