"Hotel was clean and in a very good location. The reason I don’t give 5 star review was because the lobby was in the second floor and every single time we had to use an elevator to get to the lobby and then another elevator to get to the room. The stairs to the lobby from the first floor was closed which could have been useful."

"Everything was great. Except the staff wasn’t very friendly or helpful. They gave our room away after I phoned three times to make sure they didn’t and was assured we would be fine. They did find us a room but check in took awhile. No one was super friendly on the phone. The room and hotel however was nice and clean"
Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District

"With the Wyndham located within Old City, the location is the biggest draw. It's a short walking distance to all the major historical sites and museums in the area. The facility itself could use an upgrade - the room was spacious enough and the beds were pretty comfortable, but the toilet was very loud and the shower was a bit fussy with hot water. During our four-night stay, we experienced two false fire alarms and had to evacuate once. Thankfully, the fire department is right across the street, so it was resolved quickly. One pro is the free water filler in the lobby; one con was the terrible wi-fi in our room that kept cutting out. Lastly, I do have to thank the staff for finding my daughter's necklace, which she had accidentally left behind in the room when we were checking out. We came back a couple hours later, and the manager was able to retrieve it for us. Overall, it was a decent stay in a great location."
