"Beautiful property and rooms, Bar/Restaurant was excellent with complementary wine/beer and appetizers our second night for a special event they were having with guests invited, Staff was very friendly with helpful information on area sites. Breakfast was amazing with a wide array of items to choose from. You could having a light breakfast with fruit, muffin or bagel to having a large full breakfast with eggs,meats and potatoes Will be traveling to Fort Lauderdale next and will be staying at the Tru there as we were highly impressed."

"I was very disappointed as my friend Ian’s I had adjoining rooms, a king and a 2 queen. I was staying a day later than her and for some reason the staff could not give me the double and her the king. I stayed in the double and was forced to switch for my last night. I left a sweatshirt on the bed (absolutely positive) in the double and alerted the front desk that same day. The room had been serviced but no sweatshirt was returned. It did not disappear on its own but minimal effort was made to find it. There were only 3 places it could be..with the cleaning staff, the new guest in that room or with the linens. I still gave yet to resolve this. Very unsatisfactory and will not be booking another Marriott for my travels."

"I would highly recommend this hotel. It's close to downtown Columbia, and the rooms were updated and clean. The staff is friendly everywhere. The gym, pool and food/beverages at Columbo's was excellent! I will stay here again when needed."
