"The room was excellent and reception staff were fantastic. You now have to pay for parking not acceptable in a hotel. Bar not respecting clients privacy by shouting room numbers across the bar and names. Unacceptable. Breakfast was a disaster if staff spent less talking to each other rather than checking the state of play with the food. Ie little food available when flagged they said oh we will cook some more. "We stayed at the Rose & Crown in Tonbridge for one night while attending a party. Unfortunately, the room we were given (Room 47) was very disappointing.
The room was shabby, with dirt on the floors and curtains that didn't properly cover the window. The tea and coffee facilities included two mismatched mugs, and both were dirty. The beds were also mismatched in size and had simply been pushed together, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. The carpet felt warm and had a musty, unpleasant...

"Staff were all very super helpful and friendly. Claire made our stay very special, her kindness and attention to customer service was the best I have experienced in a very long time anywhere.
A great place to stay for a short break, clean rooms, comfortable beds, unlimited breakfast. Good value for money, 15 min walk to bus services from road behind hotel to station and shopping centre. I would definitely stay here again."

"Completely adequate room for our needs as we were visiting Leeds Castle for a concert. Room was clean although very hot as we are mid heat wave at time of writing…no air con but fans provided to take the edge off. Staff were pretty friendly, decent buffet breakfast with good ‘full English’ offering. Well stocked, reasonably priced bar."
