"The hotel was overall clean and neat. The rooms were welcoming. Staff was friendly. The hotel restaurant had good food. The pool on the other hand did not look clean at all. The pool had some kind of slime or nasty clear sludge near the shallow area. Everyone was staying away from it. After 10-15 minutes of being inside the pool with my kids, we decided to exit it and never come back in."

"So when I booked this resort through Expedia, the night I arrived to the resort I called the number and was trying to check in. It was a very unorthodox way to check in. Very confusing for my first solo trip and knowing how check out procedures work for a hotel. No one was available in “reception” meaning there was a note hanging on the “office” door. "We had a wonderful stay at Cedar Cove! The beach access was absolutely amazing, and everything throughout the property was very clean and well maintained. The beach itself was beautiful, with clear water and no seaweed, which made the experience even better. The only improvement I would suggest is updating the beds. They felt a bit outdated and were not very stable. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we would definitely stay here again."
