Hotel Residence Venezia 2000
Quiet island just across Venice. Close to a sandy beach and easy access to Venice and other islands. Rooftop bar was a good perk, we had aperitivo before going out to supper in Lido. We stayed in October and it was quieter than Venice but I can see that place booming in the summer months.

Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo
Superb location. Our room had a double aspect overlooking the canal. We could watch the Gondolas all day! Bathroom a bit small and shower over bath wasn’t great. Breakfast was terrible. We only stayed two days, the hotel far exceeded our expectations. The staff were fantastic. Hotel was close to train and bus station for our travel to Venice. The room was clean and the bed, what can we say, we slept like babies.
