"I actually considered just forfeiting the non refundable fee i paid for the room. I was afraid to touch anything it was so dirty and run down. If it hadn't been so late when we finally got to the room after dinner we would have packed up and left."

"I attempted to let the front desk know that our room door would not latch. I requested to be changed to a room that had a front door I could close. Nobody would be comfortable with the door being open all night, anybody could have walked into my room and we have children with us. The manager kept repeating that there hadn’t been any issue, and I simply asked if she was implying that we did something to it. This question seemingly outraged her to the point she called me “insane” in front of my daughter and my wife physically had to stand between her and I because she was trying to come towards me in an aggressive manner. The single most unacceptable experience I’ve had in my life."

"Room wasn't ready. Got checked in after an hour wait to a hot, smelly room. Found out the AC was out, apparently in the whole property; or, at least, all available rooms. Room temp was 78 and climbing. Had to check into a new hotel. Staff here had no sympathy, was unwilling to share information, didn't tell me about the situation until I checked in, and was unwilling to help facilitate the cancelation with Expedia. Sleazy, awful experience."
