The hotel was beautiful, clean and stylish. Had a very modern cool vibe. The staff weee so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was so fresh and so good and really nutritious healthy options were available. Would highly recommend. Beautiful location too

Superb service from point of arrival to point of check out. Ana and the team were extremely helpful and informative with excellent tips and suggestions on the local area. Best hotel I have stayed at, location great as a central point to Lisbon and surrounding areas, superb amenities and extras included. Highly recommend and wish I stayed longer.

A fantastic welcome awaits at the LR Guest House. An old property converted into rooms in the heart of Lisbon. I was there only for 2 nights attending a conference but it was perfect for my needs (although there was no ensuite, I had my own large bathroom a few steps away, dressing gown and slippers provided). the most impressive aspect were the managers, they were very friendly an I felt that they cared about their guests. On arrival, David welcomed me with a coffee and a slice of cake from the...

So helpful, very good for toddlers. I had my 5 year old and I actually didnt intend to use the kids club but as soon as she saw the kids club, she liked it more than going out! Typical! Anyway, she only used it for an hour when we came back from our day so was useful for me so I could have a shower and then picked her up to start her night routine. Would definilty come back. Only downside, not the hotels fault but the location is very good but on the weekend does get rowdy and the few occasions...

Great breakfast and friendly/helpful staff. Location very convenient for major sights as well as transport. Lovely green square near the hotel and botanical garden very close. There is no lift in the hotel, so could be a problem if you have difficulties with stairs and your room is on the top floor. Our room was lovely with a balcony and views of river.

The hotel is very central on the Rua Augusta which is what we wanted. It’s on a pedestrianised street full of shops, restaurants and bakeries. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Arco da Rua Augusta and Praça do Comercio. Easy to catch a tram to Belem Tower and Jeroniomos Monastery. We walked to all other tourist attractions in about 30 mins , but we like that. Excellent little hotel!!

A superb find!! Staff exceptional. Breakfast exceptional

I was so pleased that I chose the Valverde Hotel in Lisbon. From the moment we arrived until we left the whole experience was wonderful. Excellent staff who were friendly and helpful beyond expectations. It was a special occasion for our visit to Lisbon so we chose the Avenida Suite which was a lovely room - as was the Junior Suite I also looked at. I am sure the other rooms are equally nice - I cannot imagine they won't be. The hotel was in a brilliant location- easy to walk to many...

Hotel is basic, no tv or tea or coffee in room. But tea and coffee next to lifts. And kids don’t watch the tv anyway. Hotel location for great for us for exploring Lisbon and getting train to cascais, which was worth the visit. I would stay here again if in Lisbon

Hall Chiado is a very convenient place where everything is perfectly organised and the staff is very friendly! Only comment I would make is the area is quite party area, but if you love that, then great!

Incredible apartment to stay in, truly authentic to the area too

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was well cited and quiet given its location in the ‘party district’. We particularly enjoyed the downstairs ‘lounge’ as it was nice to come back at the end of the day and enjoy some delicious herbal tea and orange cake. Would recommend and would return again!

Stayed here for 4 nights - it was perfect for our family of 4 - plenty of space in the one bed apartment - two day beds suited our 2 sons sleeping arrangements. Kitchen and washing machine thoughtful touches and everything supplied - even down to some washing tablets for the dishwasher. The whole place has been well thought out and in a perfect location for exploring Lisbon. There is some street noise, but we didn't find it intrusive and you need to remember this is the centre of Lisbon. T

In the middle of Barrio alto area of Lisbon Excellent place to stay superb personable b an b the rooms are excellent the breakfast is amazing But most of all its the staff the girls in the kitchen through to the excellent reception staff of Magda, Rafa an Lilianne that make your stay Make a note other hotels this is how its done

Really clean comfy space with everything you need and a decent breakfast spread. AC was fab and the staff were lovely, we even got a free bottle of wine with our room!

The hotel is placed in a quiet neighbourhood so it was very peaceful and still accessible to all . The room cleaning might take some time but I guess it’s expected . Overall it was a pleasant experience
