Reception staff was awesome. Francisco greeted us and check us in and was so helpful. Even tried to get us information via his personal phone ahead of time to ensure we could get our car into the city center. If I come back to Central, I am 100% staying at this property again.

Location Location Location

Centrally located next to the palace and shopping. Although the roads in that part of town are narrow and difficult to navigate, the on-site parking and close in location made it a perfect stop after a long day of travel. Would stay there again…maybe stay more than one night and explore Sintra more.

As stated above. It was a pleasant hotel, a bit too old and shabby, and unfortunately the ambient fragance throughout the public areas of the hotel is totally UNPLEASANT to my senses. I stayed at a newly converted quaint NH property in Mexico city in Jan 2024 and the freshner in public areas was exactly as UNPLEASANT and sickening 😑 as at Sintra.
