"Probably one of the best hotels in the Tossa Del Mar area. Beautiful installations, the spa was really nice and clean. The ocean facing balcony room was beautiful and comfortable. Really good and fresh breakfast with plenty of staff always walking around, helping and cleaning up. Amparo the bartender was super friendly with me and my wife; made the best drinks and gave us tons of tips on places to go and restaurants around always with a friendly smile. There was this kid in the front, i am not sure his name is spelled “Yan” or “Jean” of German background; he walked us all the way to our car whenever my wife felt hesitant to walk alone, he helped us with our bags and also gave us super friendly advise on where to go and wha to do. Would definitely go back to Elizabeth by the Sea as per their installations but specially because of their amazing staff! Two thumbs up!"

"Great location and even better staff! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. I was positively surprised by their post-check-out service. They offer free luggage storage and allowed us to use the pool even after checking out, which is perfect if you have a late flight. This is very rare to find, and it made our trip so much better!"

"Hotel Horitzo is one of the best properties in Costa Brava, right next to the Beach with beautiful views. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast was outstanding. I stayed in a sea facing double room, the amenities were very good in my room. My stay at this hotel was a test case for this hotel since have a wedding coming up in June and I was looking for a really good hotel for 30 of my guests. We have booked all the rooms at the main wedding hotel (Santa Marta) and we needed additional rooms for our guests. My experience staying at this hotel was excellent. I have booked 16 additional rooms for June at this hotel for my guests. Hello Joseph, Your staff was super sweet when I stayed at the hotel. But there is one problem, after I came back to US, I am trying to talk to the Reception at the hotel, there is only one number listed. It is almost impossible to connect by phone to your Reception. As I have very important guests staying for 3 nights at your hotel, it is important that I talk to someone at the hotel to make sure everything goes smooth during their stay and I may need additional rooms. I will appreciate if you can make sure the experience 30 of my guests who will stay at your hotel is outstanding. If someone can call me on my phone or email me (since I am unable to get through to your hotel), that will be appreciated. You can please send me an email (your hotel has my contact information). "Overall our stay was good 4* not 5* because of broken AC in the room. My husband, 13 months old toddler and I travelled from the US 7 hours flight & 6 hours time difference. Then 1 hour of train ride & taxi 30 min rideto the hotel and we checked into hotel room with broken AC. We reported it immediately as it was summer June around 85 F and humid. Front desk lady came up to the room to help us to adjust AC properly. However, it was broken. Then she informed us that engineer guy will come to the room shortly to fix it. We waited 15 min no one came. Therefore, we had to wait more than 40 min for the engineer guy to come, while we all including a crying toddler were exhausted. We had no choice but to come down to front desk 2-3 times with a crying toddler in my arms to complain about the room, only after 3rd time front desk lady finally made a decision and showed us a smaller room with working AC. Question: is that a hotel policy to remedy hotel guests experience only after guests come down to FD 3 times to complain? If that’s the case, then it’s a terrible customer service. As far as I know, hotel staff shall respond within 15 min or so or simply change the room. Because it is not guests fault that they checked in to the room with broken AC. Otherwise, the front desk ladies were quite responsive, courteous, and professional. Maria helped me to book bus tickets to the airport. Very grateful for that. Restaurant staff were very friendly and super nice with a toddler."
