"Booked our stay at the Royal Victoria Hotel for the purpose of hiking up Snowden. This was a great choice as the hotels location was ideal, being a few hundred yards from the start of the Llanberis path. The hotel itself was very clean, staff super friendly, and the room met our needs. Car parking wasn't a problem as the car park has ample space, and as previously mentioned, is a stone throw from the start of the path we would take to the summit. "we ate there the night before we left. We ordered dessert online. The server made us show her our receipt for the dessert before bringing it to our table. When she finally brought our dessert she was very sour and didn’t even apologize. Seemed very rude."

"Room had no carpeting only cushion floor in black & white pattern which was well worn. Furnishing was uninspiring and well used. Not the most comfortable of beds. Unfortunately in the yard outside of our room was some type of generator which was noisy and was switching on and off overnight. Parking was very limited. Overall very basic. Gentleman who greeted us was very pleasant and welcoming and nice courtesy tray in room."

"The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby....

"Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...

"Good rooms. Great restaurant onsite where I ate every evening. On my 1st day, I arrived past 9pm when kitchen was already closing but they still made me food which was nice. Location is not in the center of the town but this should obvious to anyone by looking at the map. The hotel is close to some nice hiking trails. Great place to rest after exploring Wales."
