"We were sent a code for the property via a WhatsApp chat and check in was very easy. It was a short walk from the train station and we could walk to the lake, funicular and olive grove walk so the location was excellent. The apartment was very compact so I would check the floor space before booking. There were no dishwasher tablets or coffee grounds for the machine but these can be bought downstairs. Our 3 kids enjoyed the pool and the restaurant was excellent. It was also very handy having the option to reserve your bakery order for pickup each morning along with take out pizzas. Very comfortable 3 nights and the town of Ascona was lovely
