"Clean room, clean bathroom. The full Scottish breakfast was very delicious in the morning in their restaurant downstairs. It’s perfect walking distance to town, as well. We enjoyed our stay here. The family who runs it really works hard to make sure everything is perfect for you. They are very kind people!"

"On the downside the menu did not change on a daily basis . The height of the bath was almost impossible to get in and out. The staff were very nice , chatty and helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I would recommend the hotel for short stays."

"The room is reasonably clean, certainly better than expected given the low review rating. The down side is the duvet cover already got fabric pilling, probably already too old. Car park also need extra charge…in this small town, at least there are plenty free parking for night time nearby."

"Somewhat dated, ancient noisy lift, shower over bath was a tap attachment. Bathrooms were definitely overdue a refurbishment. Staff were very good and everything very clean, but a refresh wouldn't go amiss..."
