"The property was beautiful but a little of town. Very limited taxi/cabs available therefore one has to ensure that they are organized and pre-book transportation. The staff was extremely accommodating and very polite and helpful"

We had the small plates for dinner because the restaurant was booked full but our small plate dishes were excellent. Quite frankly I would have the small plates for dinner rather than a full dinner. "This hotel in Pitlochry was a convenient stop-over when we were en route from Edinburgh to the Isle of Skye. While there are lots of things to see and do locally, our schedule allowed us to stay only one night. The rooms were comfortable if on the small side given the angular walls that followed the roof line. The beds and linens were fine, and the rooms had a nice modern shower. "The shower didn’t work and there was no hot water so showering was in a dribble of cold water. We did tell the girl on reception but never got fixed. The room was economy so maybe other rooms are better but if you want to close the door while on the toilet then defo pay more. Can’t watch tv in bed as it’s around the corner. The staff were lovely though just didn’t solve the problem and a shower is a must especially in 25 degree heat"

"The hotel is situated up the hill away from the main high street. On the day we arrived, the restaurant was closed due to lack of guests whilst restaurants in the high street were very busy which didn't instill much confidence on us dining in their bar instead. The hotel decor was dated and the lift was very slow. The button panel inside the lift was loose, again didn't make me feel safe using the lift. The room was clean, acceptable but not exceptional.
