We even asked at the reception if they had any firmer ones, but were told that the entire complex uses the same type of mattress. "Building is absolutely beautiful and in good condition. Rooms are clean and perfunctory. Pillows a little crappy, but the vibe overall is fab. The front desk staff are particularly delightful, and it really does affect ones stay. The grounds are fun to explore, and you can really feel the history. Plus I do love some original wainscoting and old world wooden elements that are property preserved."

"It was our first time at this Palace. Beautiful place with wonderful amenities and great staff. We had a room in a Palce which was very clea, big and very nicely decorated. Food in the restaurants was delicious. The best breakfast we had so far. We used their swimming pool and sauna to relax. Highly recommend."
