"Honestly we were disappointed. The bungalows are worn down and dirty - and we tried 3 different ones because we got dropped at the wrong one at first. Then the second one we stayed at one night and the third one for 4 nights (after coming back from another island). All three bungalows were dark, dirty and just tired to look at. "This place exceeded our expectations, it’s at the top of a hill which is easily walkable so the view is exceptional! The host was so kind and helpful as well and being that we are from Canada we had a few questions! My daughters and I enjoyed ourselves so much, eating dinner on our patio while watching the cockatoos all around us. I highly recommend this place, you won’t regret it!"

"Mirage has excellent location, right above the water, with a walkway to get to Airlie beach and the marina. It also has a bus stop just down the road to get to Airlie beach or any other location. The apartment was huge with sweeping views of the water. The only negative for me was the bed, which was too soft but that is individual preference.
