"Pretty old hotel but clean. My room has a small shower place which is not ideal. Otherwise a good hotel for the price. Breakfast buffet is outstanding. The location requires tram ride to go to the old town etc."

The reception staff were friendly but were not visible on entry due to the position & height of the reception desk & this unfortunately gave a feeling of ‘being ignored’. The air con was good."

The staff helped us with questions and transportation matters several times, they were super friendly and helpful. I looked forward to getting back to the room to find a different little gift from the staff every day. Clean. Beds comfy. Oh and the restaurant is wonderful. I loved it here!"

"Great hotel. Very clean, very comfortable. Air con and normal room amenities. Fridge needed attention (reported to reception when leaving) as wasn't that cold, and minibar items (unused) were not cheap. In-room coffee and tea items were replenished daily. Plenty of European plug points where needed in the room. A short walk from the tourist areas, but worth it for the quiet and the comfort. Superb restaurant next door with amazing food. Great breakfast spreads. Yes I would definitely stay...

"The room was clean and tidy. The beds were really comfy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the check in and out was incredibly easy! It was a good location next to a shopping centre with plenty of places to eat and a supermarket in there. Public transport was nearby making it easy to get around Prague. It was walkable too but took about 30 mins to walk to the touristy areas of Prague."

"This was out third stay at Josef and everything was great as always! Staff was very helpful with early check in to our room. The room was comfortable and super clean. The amenities are top notch. One comment regarding the toiletries - they have a lovely, but very strong smell - which could be a little aggravating to guests with allergies/asthma or sensitive to strong smells. I did experience an allergic reaction while using the bath products. With that being said, I'd recommend staying at Josef...
