My recent stay at this hotel left much to be desired, making it fall far short of a 5-star experience. The staff, although friendly, appeared overwhelmed and constantly in a rush from the main reception desk to the breakfast restaurant. It was disappointing to see unclean tables, a shortage of clean tea cups, and dirty plates left unattended during breakfast, where only two ladies were managing the kitchen. The heightened security presence, including the presence of police, due to the hotel's Israeli guests, was unexpected. Furthermore, the outdoor pool's music, starting at 7 am and continuing loudly late into the night, proved disruptive to any hope of relaxation. The hotel's remote location requires guests to be mentally prepared for a secluded stay. All in all, my experience fell short of expectations, and I wouldn't consider returning to this hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel, almost brand new, with a lovely design aesthetic all cream and curves which I suspect is the Isla Brown 'look'. It had the best lighting we've ever seen in Greece, lots of it recessive, low and inviting. We were upgraded to an executive suite which had a side sea view and was very nice if an odd shape with 2 large tvs. The basic rooms are very small so it's worth paying more for a larger one. There were lots of very comfy sunbeds and bean bags on beach and around pool and low-key chill out music in common areas. There was also a good gym overlooking the sea. The fantastic buffet breakfast had an incredible amount of choice and excellent quality and was probably the best we've ever seen. Literally everything was there including six different types of milk! The clientele was international and young - we wondered if it predominantly catered for package tours. It was very quiet in the evening so we've no idea where everyone went as there are only a few tavernas within walking distance. The Staff is attentive and charming. Negatives - very hard bed gave me backache

The property itself is very nice. And the breakfast buffet & dinner was great. However the service at the front desk put a little bit of a downer on our stay. We had requested the sofa bed to be made, from when we checked in. The response we got from the front desk was yes soon. We reminded them when we went to dinner and called a few times before. At our disappointment at 10 o’clock when we came back to the room the bed was still not made and there were no sheets or extra pillows in the room. They finally came after 5 hours from checkin. When we checked out, no one helped us to the parking lot where they initially valeted parked our car, we walked to the car ourselves that was a little bit across the street from the hotel. The facilities are nice the service could be very much improved.

Beautiful hotel but improvement required
Beautifully designed hotel and from our Executive Suite the sea views were wonderful and the suite beautifully presented and well-equipped. Having read the negative reviews after we booked, we were concerned what we would experience. So, this review focuses on some aspects criticised in other reviews. Breakfast: the most splendid buffet with a vast array of fresh, hot and cold choices and long opening time during which to enjoy. The restaurant gets busy but every morning we secured a table that enabled us to enjoy the beautiful sea view. So, unless the hotel has made recent changes to their breakfast offering, negative comments from other reviewers are baffling. Parking: ample free hotel parking, so negative comments from other reviewers appear unwarranted. Noise: lots of negative comments in other reviews and we experienced the reasons firsthand. This can be a party town with music pumping out of passing cars and the 2 open air clubs close to the hotel. On our first night, a public holiday, the music was blaring through the night until about 5:00am and then from the hotel’s poolside bar from just after 6:00am, resulting in my partner not getting a wink of sleep. Thankfully, this wasn’t repeated on any of the following 4 nights of our stay. Service: good in the restaurant and inside bar but woefully understaffed by the pool. The experience was good but doesn’t tick enough boxes to be considered 5-star. We enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t rush to return.

The room was exceptional, staff couldn't do enough to help. The breakfasts were incredible. And the pool was salt water so no horrible chlorine smell. There were also lots of options to choose from at the beach. One of the loveliest hotels I've stayed in. We would definitely come back again.

Very Disappointing. NOT a 5 star hotel
I'll start by saying that our overall experience was good but unfortunately it wasn't because of the hotel, it's because we are positive people who enjoy life. And know how to make lemonade. We booked two executive suites with sea view for 2 families. I made one reservation for both rooms but they gave us rooms in two different floors, they refused to accommodate the request to be together as the hotel was fully booked. One room was ready at 3 and we had to wait an extra 20 minutes for the second room even though it was past check in time. We finally received our room and I decided to enjoy a bath, a few minutes later the water stopped!! There was a 30 MINUTES WATER BREAKE !when im wet in a towl waiting for the water to return , no apology from the hotel or anything. I called to ask for a bathrobe that is supposed to be in the room, it took them 3 calls and 6 hours to get it. The next morning we all jumped out of bed at 9:00 am to the sound of a FIRE ALARM!! We rushed downstairs with the entire hotel to realize minutes later that thank G-d it was a false alarm.Again no apology or anything from the hotel... We waited in line for breakfast for 20-30 minutes every morning! !! And to top everything, the room amenities is detailing there is an espresso machine in the room, there was indeed a machine and 4 capsules. Once we used the coffee there was NO refill!! So no more coffee in the room , of any kind... when we asked for a refill we were told we would have to pay 2 euro per ca

Thank you Isla Brown for a wonderful stay this July. We had a Family Suite on the 7th floor with great view of the entire bay. The hotel is brand new and super stylish. We loved the comfort of the room and enjoyed all the facilities within the hotel. The rooftop bar with the water flooring and reclining chairs is amazing for watching the sunset each night! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner buffets are so delicious and plentiful. The beach, pool and garden bar are all easily accessible and seconds away once you leave the hotel entrance. If you’re looking for a getaway from Athens or somewhere peaceful yet fun for families an hour away from Athens then Isla Brown is pure perfection. I am so happy we booked and we will definitely return. Thank you to Marilou, Mariannetta, Yiorgos, Kyriacos, Silvana, room service, bar team, and all staff who work so so hard all day to make everyone happy!!

The property may be relatively new, but it is poorly managed and the service overall is inadequate for the price range and expectations. Housekeeping is just unacceptable and the staff seem to be inexperienced and unable to cope. Waiters at the restaurant are very slow to respond, even if the request is just the menu!

Good, but could have been amazing!
The location and condition of the hotel are excellent. The rooms are clean, spacious and look great! The pool area is nice although they could do with more sun beds for the number of guests staying (same for the sun beds by the sea). The breakfast buffet had the potential to be very nice but many of the food out on display was completely cold (eggs in particular), frequently no juice, no hot water for tea / coffee and a MASSIVE queue to get into the restaurant as the service staff cannot clean the tables quick enough, there were many staff, they just didn't seem to know what to do! We had to ask 4 times to get a bedsheet for the sofa bed, twice at the desk and twice on the phone (that was when they picked up the phone - we must have called reception 10+ times with the phone either just ringing out or being picked up and then disconnected..) The Hotel Manager was very helpful and understanding but I feel there is a lack of supervision / training across all service elements of the hotel which could be improved upon massively and would make this a fantastic place to stay.

The hotel is great and brand new, it only opened 2.5 months ago. Rooms are modern and clean, front desk staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and all staff were very polite and helpful. There is a water sports place right near the hotel and hotel guests have 3 hours daily of free use of different activities offered. There is a supermarket and a pharmacy within a 5 min walk. There are restaurants on site, but also 4-5 taverns and cafes right by the hotel. 10 min away there is a park with walking paths and play structures for kids. The train station is a 5 min car ride away, with trains to Athens. We LOVED the hotel. You can see the sunrise from the front and east facing rooms. The water was very clear. The beach is rocky. The breakfast is available until noon and was fabulous, there must have been over 80 different options to choose from. Truly an amazing hotel.

Great place to relax after touring Greece
This hotel is beautiful. The hotel staff are very helpful. My family visited for 5 days at the end of our two week tour of Greece. Our college aged kids enjoyed the on premises water sports immensely. Be aware it is still under construction. The rooftop bar and pool are not yet opened. The towels we were provided at the pool still had tags on them! The breakfast buffet was amazing. Dinner at the property was only average. The bar staff was amazing. We would definitely return to enjoy Isla Brown in the future.

Great facility and service. The staff went far and beyond to make our stay great. The Spa is not opened yet but should we opened soon. We took the half board but the dinner is based on fish which does not fit all. The water sports are great!

Hôtel très bruyant en Aout: une rue principale passe devant l’hôtel ( défilé non stop de motos, voitures musique à fond, bennes à ordures et récup verres vidés à 5h30 du matin, baies vitrées de la chambre mal insonorisées avec des familles qui hurlent dès 7h le matin) . Discothèque à coté de l’hôtel , musique à fond d'une plage privée à coté de l’hôtel.La Suite vue mer est en fait une vue partielle sur la mer car c'est soit vue sur piscine et discothèque soit vue sur une quartier défriché . Ascenseurs souvent en panne. Pas de parking dans l'hôtel ni voiturier. Vous garez votre voiture de location dans la rue ou sur parking public en terre en face de l’hôtel . Un manque criant de civilité en Aout des touristes tout permis qui se lâchent aux buffets , dans la piscine et qui ne respectent ni le personnel ni l’établissement. Aucun respect. Le personnel ( ménage, serveurs ) est serviable et fait ce qu'il peut fasse à cette clientèle qui a no limit !!! L' Architecture du bâtiment est splendide, plage très agréable. Les repas ( petit déjeuner, snack bar et repas du soir) au buffet sont très corrects et très bons.Un roof top magnifique. Il y a encore beaucoup de choses à reprendre de la part de la direction .

Hôtel super design, très beau. Inscrit dans la ville, mais le côté privé de la plage notamment n’est pas toujours très bien géré. Un défaut les ascenseurs peu fiables et en nombre trop limités. Personnel au top Clientèle un peu trop »nouveau riche » bruyante et mal élevée. Et comme les chambres sont très mal insonorisées…
