Just returned from a break in Cologne and Dusseldorf. The hotel is tastefully decorated, staff are warm and welcoming. Claudine in the breakfast room cannot do enough for you, and the breakfast is definitely worth nine euros. Room was lovely and incredibly clean... the shower didn't look as if it had been used!!!!

Nice location which allows you to walk into the centre of Dusseldorf via the river promenade. Well located within the Mediahafen which has plenty of restaurants and bars to keep you busy. The room was spacious, clean and modern. Car parking also available under the hotel.

The room was very spacious and clean. Food and dinning experience excellent.
The staff are all very curtious, polite and helpful. My second time here at the Van der Valk and wouldn't book anywhere else particularly for the concerts at the Dome.
