"The hotel is in a great location in central Tirano. The rooms are bright, spotlessly clean and very comfortable - with unique neon signs over the beds. There are a few spots onsite to park and I was able to get one of those. Alessia on reception is extremely efficient and also very friendly. You get breakfast in a restaurant a short walk away. The breakfast is fine but I suggest cheese is served away from the meat for vegetarians like me. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant also. The staff are great, the menu is varied and they have a great selection of local wines. It’s great value for money. The location of the hotel is perfect for people going on the Bernina Train like we did. It’s also great value for money. I live in Northern Italy so will certainly stay here again when I next visit Tirano. Thanks again for making myself and my friend so welcome at the hotel and at the restaurant. "

"A room with a view and a welcome as warm as the setting sun. We had an idyllic night in the Inferno room. Well worth the small upgrade fee to be facing South and enjoy the same view that the vines enjoy all year round. The bed was very comfortable, the location was very peaceful and the Ill Poggerio restaurant is the perfect accompaniment to the tranquil setting. Breakfast is simple and wholesome. The omelette was delicious and made from organic eggs that have a story all to themselves. The team who looked afye ua could not be more friendly with great english as well. We will definitely be returning to enjoy more nights here at the Wine Hotel and next time take the opportunity to enjoy the spa and hot tub. Thank you ❤️"
