Room was very clean, tub had a little rust stains on it. Excellent breakfast, amazingly friendly staff. The pool and hot tub were both very clean. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Came in for a holiday family gathering.Originally from Lbk so we are aware of most hotels in the area. This is our first time to stay at this facility. We know it is an older, refurbished hotel, but is kept up well considering. Carla at the front desk, was very helpful by calling us first thing to let us know that there was an issue with our reservation made through Expedia. She followed up with us throughout the day as we were already on the road from out of state. She made sure that all three of our reservations were confirmed and cleared before arriving!! Hotel amenities were good. Very quiet. Water pressure/temperature was great and we especially enjoyed the trim at the bottom of the door to keep the hall lights out! Coming from a no public smoking state, walking in and out to people standing right at the entry doors while smoking was the only unpleasant experience we had while there. Overall, we have always had good experiences at Comfort Suites and will continue to book here first.

The breakfast is good and the breakfast room is clean. they do have two waffle maker and one of them is the shape of Texas. Fun! The room was fine with lots of TV channels and lots of thick soft towels.

The room was absolutely disgusting. It was very dirty. There were stains all over the walls like coke or food running down the wall. It was very run down, chips in the paint all over the walls, gaps in the front door, wood door to the bathroom was all beat up, bathroom was gross, floor looked like it hasn’t been vacuumed and couch had stains all over. It looked like they took old stuff from another hotel and replaced it with that. They also price gouged because of a graduation. Instead of $100 a night, it was $254 a night. It was definitely not worth the $584 we paid with taxes for 2 nights. I also booked through Expedia and it was a pay at the property reservation. There was a pending charge for 1 night on my debit card and I called that morning to make sure I was paying at the property. The lady I spoke to said it was only an authorization hold. Again I said I want to pay at the property. We got there late and the guy at the desk just gave us the key and I told him I needed to pay. He told me the manager authorized the charges that morning on my debit card. I will never ever stay at this property again.

I’ve had to stay here twice in the last month due to my mother being in the hospital. Carla Romero, the manager, was amazing! All the staff were honestly! When I found out I wouldn’t be able to go home because my mom wouldn’t be discharged, Carla helped me with a new reservation. She also moved us rooms after night one to one with lower beds so my mom could get in and out of bed. I’ve had to extend my stay 3 times this time. I couldn’t say more great things about this hotel! This will be my go-to in Lubbock from now on!

If you actually want to sleep, don’t stay at Comfort Inn & Suites, West Lubbock. The first night was ok, but our second and third nights were sleepless. The second and third nights, we were awoken early with noise from the room above us. It sounded like a child running across the floor and a ball being bounced. This went on for HOURS. Our entire family of 5 laid awake Finally, at 3 am, I called the front desk. They told me they would send security up to check on it. Either they didn’t send anyone or the people above us didn’t care, but the noise/stomping continued until around 5 am. Now, I realize that can’t always be controlled but I think of the rooms were a little more soundproof or if they didn’t put little kids on the top floor, it would help. On top of the sleepless nights, the room was dirty and not well cared for. There was dried urine at the base of the toilet when we arrived to the room, and all the mirrors were dirty. Neither were cleaned the entire time we were there. There was unidentified yuck smeared on the walls. The shower was growing pink mold, and there were large paint chips throughout the room and bathroom.

The gentleman at the breakfast was the sweetest and most helpful guy ever. The room was nice, although the bathroon tile was cracking even though it was fairly new. Otherwise the room was good and served the purpose. We had to ask for coffee, a coffee maker was in the room, but.no coffee. Front desk gladly gave us some.
