"I believe we had one of their best rooms with the large balcony overlooking the river. The size of the room was definitely larger than the others with two French doors leading to the balcony. The bathroom looks newly remodeled. Small shower, could use more than one towel bar and sink stopper to be able to fill sink with water. There is no AC in the hotel but they had a large Dyson fan. "Family owned hotel and restaurant was a nice touch. Located just outside of Luzern downtown and reachable by train which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Note the train only comes once an hour so plan accordingly. Several walkable restaurants nearby. Staff was very accommodating and helpful and provided travel adapters for free. Breakfast was a nice spread including eggs, cheese, meats and other items. Hotel was very quiet and well kept. Great base for Luzern and the area. "

"Great location. Very convenient to all tourists site. Plus there is a beautiful park and boardwalk across from the hotel with amazing views. The hotel is very old, however the staff do a great job to ensure guests are taken care of. Plus the two bedroom option comes with 2.5 baths. Only one negative is the portable AC unit, but that’s not that much of an issue."

"Its my 3rd time stay at Ibis Luzern. And always happy to come back this hotel. The location only 5 minutes using a bus from central luzern station (walking around 15 minutes). The room is good and the price so reasonable. They provide a microwave, hot water (coffee and tea) in lobby area. They give a Luzern pass too, so you can enjoy around luzern with free pass. "

"Beautiful hotel full of character,, location so central for walking or bus. All staff so willing to help, Aston in reception helped with bookings. The breakfast staff and Sofie (Portugal) were wonderful. View from our balcony amazing, ac was much needed. Highly recommend- I’m going back x. Thanks to all"
