"The room smelled like the air conditioner filter had never been changed. The shower curtain bottom was sopped with water. The carpet was covered in debris. The television didn’t work. The nightstand lamp didn’t work and the desk lamp was missing a bulb. The window blinds were covered in filth. It was really bad."

"Property needs improvements. They need to do a better job with the cleaning. There was mold in the bathroom, stained bed sheets. Location is convenient."

"The property was clean and well maintained. We stayed in room #3 and it was very nice. The breakfast consisted of only a cranberry muffin and Keurig coffee. Most restaurants and businesses in and around the town are closed on Monday and Tuesday."

"Friendly staff and unique, nice things like real dishware at breakfast and some unusual options at breakfast such as avocado and a variety of toppings for avocado toast. Also, very good coffee which was also a lovely find. Be aware, though, that The Ellery is a motel and is somewhat upscale but not upscale enough for the price. Bathrooms are tiny and there's no place to hang towels. In general, not enough light in the room. Our air conditioner made noise and, while we could finally sleep through...

"One of the reasons that I stay at Hampton Inn is because the beds are so incredibly comfortable, and this visit didn't disappoint. But, what stood out about this Hampton Inn was the breakfast. It was amazing! It was seasoned, there was a variety of food, each day, and it was perfectly prepared and executed. The staff was helpful and even brought out almond milk for my daughter. Another big plus was that the staff were all very friendly and helpful."

"The girl at the front desk was so kind and understanding about all of our requests. The pool was the cleanest pool I've seen at a hotel in a long time. Beds were comfortable and AC really cold. Great place to stay!"

"I needed to be in one of the Handicapped rooms (101). Absolutely nothing electrical worked except the lights and little refrigerator. No A/C-Heater; no TV, no fun! It was a later night check in for me, I was exhausted, and I wasn’t up to change rooms once all my luggage was there. This is really unacceptable, even though renovations were happening. The room should have been fixed before placing a customer there!!!"

"The Carpets need to be cleaned or replaced they were gross. Beds were fine, served the job of a cheap place to sleep. Definitely needs work, caulking in bathrooms need to be replaced and the hotel when you enter smells like smoke."
